Aishwarya Trust

Hope in the eyes of one of our kids who underwent a heart transplant.

About

Aishwarya Trust is a not-for-profit treating children suffering from Congenital Heart Defects (CHD) .

The Problem

With 1% of the population affected by CHD, how can Aishwarya Trust raise awareness and nudge people to donate to its cause to save children?

The Solution

Despite reaching a decade of charitable work, Aishwarya Trust’s biggest roadblock was its inability to spread adequate awareness about CHD and its own work. One of the first tasks at hand was to restructure the digital presence that the Trust had.

After revamping the website, we focused on increasing awareness through social media and through flyers/posters in rural areas of the country where CHD was predominant (due to incest). This led to the local population in rural areas getting their infants tested along with encouraging the urban folk (typically better off financially) to donate to the noble cause.

We also ramped up our communication with the donor base via routine communication through newsletters. All these efforts have resulted in the success of over a 1,000 screening camps across multiple towns in India and over 150 heart transplants!

Contribution

  1. Digital Marketing

  2. Communication

1/100 children are born with a Congenital Heart Defect
Along with heart transplants we conduct screening camps in rural areas to facilitate early detection of CHD.
